| I thought this was a cool way to learn new ways to decorate....
I have been looking online at country decorating stores and getting ideas of this to make like crafts or sewing from this. I LOVE the stuff in those stores but can't afford it, but I have found many ideas to make on my own. EX: I made a beautiful towel thing to hang on my oven door, it matches my kitchen just right and only cost me $1 to make! It looks like it could have come from one of those stores...kinda....LOL...
It's fun and free entertainment! I also am finding new ways to arrange what I allready have |

| | I am SOOOO excited! I have two notebook pages front and back of stuff to make and I have most of the supplies allready! I think for all of the pages I will spend les than $10!!!! It is mostly revamping what I allready have, as I don't want more clutter! Today I am cleaning out our mudroom, and redecorating that. The men are putting up paneling today as well. |

| Good idea kim. I once saw a book (can not remember the title) that was all about decorating your home with items that you already own. Sometimes just moving things around a bit and making new arrangements makes everything seem new and fresh. _________________ MARY

| It is SOOO fun! Right now I am working on the mudroom....SO, I made small pillows with , 3 of them...the have " God Bless You" stitched into them, they will hang from a bridhouse thing with hooks by the front door, it turned out great! I also painted 2 5x7 pic frames hunter green and then on tan material stitched the kids names...Ashley is in pink and I stitched a flower with light pink and purple flowers, and Tyler's is stitched in burgandy and I also stitched Jay Jay the Jet Plane (his favorite cartoon guy) on his...they will hang on the wall with 2 hooks under each for their coats....and I am making a cat food container by spray painting an old popcorn tin brown, and stamping in black paw prints on it, give it a coat of poly. and then glue a handle to the lid Other than that there will be some organizing and that room should be done |
