Okay I think we all agreed upon comparing laundry detergent for this month. Come on ladies lets share our results!!

Yesterday I purchased a new detergent. I got the New Purex Ultra Concentrate Natural Elements (32 loads). It was on sale for $3.99 and I had $1.00 off coupon. It smells great and has done well so far. The test will be dh's work clothes. Another reason for me trying this particular one......

I like the 'Duo' laundry powder I've been using for quite some time now, it's very reasonably priced and performs well.
I'm thinking of trying out a liquid detergent as I've never used one before. I'll check them out and hopefully try one this month!

Does anyone use the laundry detergents that are combined with fabric conditioner/softener? Do you think they do as good a job as the separate items and compare better costwise?

laundry soap ... I have not found one that works for the whole family . I havent tried any with softener ...

I did buy Gain...I think it was $5.44 for 32 loads...that is more $ than I usually spend...we are looking for the good smell to stay on the clothes.

I have used the ones with fabric softener and I really again like the Tide with the softener. It works well in the summer as I don't use fabric softener that time of the year but in the winter I need more to get out the static cling

I bought a bottle of liquid detergent called Astria..came from Aldis.I usually never shop at a Aldis,,usually at SAL.We had tons of laundryt his week,,(curtains bed linens,comforters etc)so I saved a few dollars and bought this brand.It didnt have a fresh scent,,didnt seem to bubble up as much as others,,but did clean clothes and linens fine.Also did all laundry his week in cold water.Only problem was eith static and only noticed it on my uniforms for work.

Id like to try Tide coldwater with downey,,love the way downey works..but it does cost more.I am out of soap so this weeks shopping I will buy another brand and see how it works.

Oh I forgot,,the Astria said it is compared to Purex,,which is what I usually buy.

Well I had used the entire bottle of Purex Naturals and I really liked it. I loved the way the clothes came out smelling.

I am LOVING the Gain laundry soap!!

I have tired the Tide with softener and I really like it so far no complaints

I am using All free and clear. It doesn't clean as well as I like but the price was good...$3.00. I have to use unscented, hyperallegenic detergent so I am somewhat limited.

I am still liking Gain...I also tried ALL and don't like it as well

I am hooked on the Purex Naturals. We love the smell and the way it cleans. Got a bottle that does 64 loads for $5.00 yesterday.

Let's see January idea???? How about a bathroom cleaner? I really struggle with this one and can't seem to find one I like. Any other ideas ladies?
