We cant have carpet - we are in the process of getting rid of it all.
Our cats really like using it for their litter-box.
I had this problem at the other house until I tore up all the carpet - and then they were perfect angels again. I dont know what it is, but they love to go potty on the carpets!

| M- that is too bad. I have been fortunate with my cats in that aspect. I want to tear our carpet up on the main floor and leave it in the bedrooms.

| We are excited! We are getting slivers like mad right now as the wood /coal heat has dried our wood floor right out! One of us gets a sliver daily...so it's much needed!
we have 3 cats and no problems...I guess we are lucky  |

| I pulled all the carpet out of the house .. I love the wood floors ..
Kim I am happy for you - I love to have carpet but its not wheelchair friendly .
