| Todd and I just decided last night that we want to stay close to our "new home" the 4th this year. In years past, we went to both of our parents house, had cook-outs at both, and then were too exhausted to watch the fireworks.
Last year, we were still living in Akron.
While talking to the neighbors this past week, we found out that we "HAVE" to go to the parade at 10. Then, we are going to a cookout at a neighbor's house. We then have the rest of the day to do what we want until the fireworks start.
I was informed that we should walk/ride our bikes to town for the fireworks. Apparently, 4,000 people from all around come to see our fireworks & parade (I guess the town really does it up). I also heard that if you drive, it takes over an hour to get out of town. AFter all, we have only 1 stop light in town! Luckily, where we are going for the fireworks is only 2-3 miles away from where we live. It would be easy to get there on bike.
The town also has the carnival all week this week. I love carnivals. I cant wait to go.
Then, Saturday is when we plan on visiting both families for cookouts.
