| That dollhouse idea sounds wonderful, Kim!!!!!!
I saved $1,800 total for Christmas this year, and I only have three gifts left to get & I have $845 left!! woo-hoo! The three gifts left will not cost more than $75. Hopefully less.
That leaves $770 for my emergency account(or mortgage or savings)
I guess that means that I spent $1030 on gifts this year...Hhhhmmmm, methinks there is definitely room for improvement there~ wow. I'm not thinking I did so well! I need to work up next year's budget on paper & keep it handy!! |

| I am also going to have DH make one of these for DS and instead of making it pretty for dolls I will make it look like a garage for his Bob The Builder stuff!!! He'll love it! I also found patterns for "church babies", it's and oldfashioned homemade baby doll...very easy to make and a pattern for a stuffed bear

| I made 2 stuffed bears today! I used material from the kids old clothes!!! So it's FREE!!! I am making 4 for each of them, so they can have a "bear family"...also came up with more ideas....I am making DD and DS their own "magic kit"...I am going to sew them each a cape and make them a wand and decorate a cardboard box and I found 13 EASY and CLEAN magic tricks for kids...so I am going to write the directions for each trick on an index card and put that and the things required for each trick in a zip bag and put it in their box I am also going to make DD a joke book, a science experiment box (same idea as magic kit box), and going to make foster kids fleece blankets and a pretty sign with their names on it! YEAH!!!! I am also sewing them each a bag to put thei bears in

I got fairy stickers that are all pink and glittery for her box and in pink put Ashley's Magic Box on the lid! It's AWESOME!!!

I can't even lift it! I went to Walmart and got a bunch of stuff to decorate it! I am doing the kitchen in old country style and am going to paint the frige and table red, bathroom: rubber duckies, we are going to put a ring up and make a shower curtain, I am going to make a mirror out of tinfoil , and I bought tons of stuff to make rugs and each room has a theme, I am even making a fish aquarium! It will all be 3 dementional I also have DS blanket made...but there's still tons to do!

| You're very welcome kim, you've already done an amazing job making so many things. I just loved the idea of the matchbox drawers and using doilies for rugs, curtains and bedspreads! Way too cute! Best of luck with it all, it sounds wonderful and made with love. _________________ ~ By sowing frugality we reap liberty, a golden harvest. --Agesilaus ~ |

| Go to where it says Portail and click on it. There you can set up a personal album and view others. Once the album is set up you can click on the oval button next to Fru-Gals to upload pics. Any more questions let me know. _________________ Vicki |

| Okay...plan for tomorrow...I have the day off work (yayyy), I'm meeting a friend for coffee in the morning and we're going to put together a little gift basket for another friend coming out of hospital. I need to grocery shop, then take DS to the bank, then to school to return 2 books and collect his leaving certificate....THEN....I'm determined to put up my Christmas tree (between catching up on laundry loads)....I've been psyching (spelling?) myself up for a few days now...lol. I will put on my Christmas music c.d.'s to get 'in the mood' and keep the coffee rolling. When I've finished I can place the gifts for DH, DS and our neighbours beneath the tree. Then I can enjoy the rest of the lead up to Christmas, I might pick up a few more items for DH and DS...but we'll see! Did I say I had a day off?!?!?!?! _________________ ~ By sowing frugality we reap liberty, a golden harvest. --Agesilaus ~ |
