| This recipe is from the Joey Green's incredible Country Store Book,
Nose Drops
1 tsp salt 2 cups warm distilled water(if you don't have distilled water, let tap water stand overnight in a shallow pan to allow the chlorine to escape.)
Dissolve the salt in the warm water. Makes 2 cups. To clear congested nasal passages transfer this gentle saline solution to an atomizer and spray . If you don't have an atomizer, insert a drinking straw into a glass of the liquid, cover the open end withe your finger, insert the straw in your nostril and release your finger and inhale the liquid. Repeat several times, then it's tissue time. _________________ Vicki

Ear/Nose/Throat doctor says to discard after 7 days. Some may wish to prepare half the recipe. |
