Home Made Pedialyte

2 quarts water
1 tsp baking soda
1 tsp salt
7 tbsp sugar
1 pkt sugar free kool-aid (can use regular also)
½ tsp salt substitute*

*optional but gives flavor - do not use regular salt as it dehydrates

Mix all together well and store in refrigerator no more than 3 days. Can also be frozen into ice cubes to put into child’s cup or bottle or to make into popsicles

Use any salt substitute found where the salt is sold. There is also a site where you can send a self addressed envelope and they will send free sample packets or you can fill out an order form and send $1.00 and they will send 20 packets.

http://www.alsosalt.com/packets.html

There is also a link that you can go to see what stores in your area carry this product
