I'm lucky all 3 of the grocery stores near me recycle plastic bags. Apparently the ink now used is fine for recycling into artifical wood decking. I have been trying to use canvas bags, but I'm not good at remembering to bring them in the store, so they ride around with me in the car. I don't use alot of ziplocks now that I buy luncheon meat in the reusable tubs and I reuse the few I do use as dog doo pick ups so I don't bother to wash them.
