| Here in my neighborhood in Ohio,,gas seems to be going up.Hubby and I went to get gas last night,,had a 20.00 bill.Bought 2 sodas and gum and decided to put the rest in gas.Thats was 16.55.We were on E.
I wasnt thinking about the price of gas going up and told my husband "Īt wont hold 16.55 of gas" The car is a 97 Geo Prizm. Do you know it gave us a 1/2 tank!!!!!!!
Gas is 2.59 a gallon as of today.
Keeping your tires properly inflated will save your gas by 2 miles per gallon and increas the life of your tires by 15%.If every American will make this change it is said that 4 millions gallons of gas is saved every DAY!Thats also 30% less tires in the landfills too. |

| SW Florida is between 2.56 and 2.59, it's interesting that while the price per barrel of oil has gone up into the $60 range, the price per gallon of gas has far outstripped the price of oil. Since the cost of transporting, refining and marketing remain relatively the same regardless of the price per gallon it really makes me believe price gouging is going on, especilly when you see the record high profits the oil companies have been making. _________________ Dear Lord, help me remember how lucky I am on both the good and the bad days! |

| I paid $2.34/gallon. One nice thing about my new car - it only has an 11 gallon tank. When the light starts to blink that I'm low, it only fills the car up about 9 gallons (and I get 40+ MPG). I love my new car...
