| Gas is $3.40 here now but who knows what it will be in a few hours

| $3.68 this moring .. Have a Friend in SF yesterday morning she pulled into a gas station it was $4.01 eeeck .. I going out to give them horses a pat and an apple

| Hey the horses might be the only way to travel I cant do a scooter , so if apple and pat I am on it ..
Seriously people used to have to pick Meds or Food now it Meds food or gas .
A woman we know had to quit her part time job she loved at the shelter she didnt make enough to pay for the gas
the company that deliver feed to farms now charge a fuel fee .
our school system in trouble thye dont have enough for the school buses . they cutting all away games and field trips

| It was 3.60 here but we found it yesterday at 3.56. Husband put 20.00 in our truck and it gave us a 1/8th of a tank! We went to pick up 2 mountain bikes with "minor repair needed" from freecycle few days ago....they were so bad,,hubby said we just got rid of junk for her! I love freecycle and what it stands for but sometimes you get those getting rid of junk off on others.
The bikes were going to be used for excercise reasons and to run around town in and not drive the truck,,oh well,,we will keep looking. |

| Sorry to hear about the bikes not being up to scratch Donna.
I've picked up a few duds from Freecycle too, but I've also received a few good items. I try to remember who 'not to' ask from in future...lol.
I keep a personal list of who 'not to' offer to also, I've had quite a few who'll request offers I've made and either not contact me back or show up, it really annoys me! It not only wastes my time but they've prevented the item being offered to someone who might've genuinely wanted it. It's good when it works 
I received a lovely thank-you email from a lady I met a week or so ago who came to collect some new bedsheets and a barely used quilt cover I'd offered. She told me her son loved them and that she was collecting toys to give to me for the knitting groups Festive of Hope this Christmas. We had chatted for well over an hour when she called, a very nice lady indeed.

| Thats awesome skin,,thats what its about..I dont mean to say anything bad of freecycle,,just that deal with the bikes.We have received many items in the shape the person said they were..they were honest.We also given quite abit away,,that was clutter to us,,!
Thanks Vicki,,thats on the wall in my computer/scrapbook room.Kinda hard to read but what it says is.."Scrapbooking is cheaper than a therapist! " LOL..Loved the saying so I printed out online and then transferred it to the wall and painted it in.Told my husband by the time I get it finished Im gonna need a therapist! |

| Well since I've only ever ridden a fairground horse (and it wasn't real!) I think it'd be safer to sit on a wagon...lol.
That's one of my goals in life...one of these days....to ride a real horse that is...not sit on a wagon 
That's pretty achievable huh? lol...or am I aiming too high?!!!
That reminds me of the movie 'The Bucket List'...has anyone else seen it? We all loved it.
