Donna, maybe instead of the scooter or bike you could invest in a really good pair of walking shoes and walk to work....it would take some adjustment but you would love the results Cool

I have thought of that spirit..as of now when I do drive to work(we are sharing one truck between the both of us) I park in the far back parking space and I walk to work,,I skip the shuttle.(I work at a hospital and some of the employee parking is across the street.)I think Im gonna count steps one day to see how far it adds up,,could be a easy way to sneak in a mile extra each week!

Fuel prices have hit an all time high this week in Aus.
Currently it costs $1.46 (Aus) per litre of unleaded petrol.

This converts to $5.22 (U.S.) per gallon

Diesel costs even more! Many families are stretched to breaking point and it's on the news regularly how many are losing their homes with rising interest rates.

I'm only making essential trips by car, to and from work, taking DS to work and one grocery shop per week. It's getting tougher Rolling Eyes

Gas here is $3.65 a gallon, but it rises 2 cents every day. I know it's going to hit $4.00 soon. I put $30 worth of gas in my car last night, and it only gave me 3/4 of a tank.

On Sunday I got gas and it was $3.49. It cost me $75.00 to fill up. I try and not go anywhere. It may end up where I can't go to church. Our church is 30 mins away one way and we go on SUnday and Wednesdays!
