| The car I have is a Toyota Yaris. They have been in other countries for years, but just came to the US this year. It is an '07, but I got it in August of '06. The cost was about $11,000, and for a Toyota. I really couldnt pass it up with the gas mileage and my long drives to work. I will keep it until the wheels fall off - it has been my favorite car so far. _________________ "It is not how much money you make - it is how you spend it."

| Well yesteray our prices were at $2.49 a gallon and we have 3 vehicles to fill up. Those trips back and forth to Towson (2 hours each way) killed us in gas. _________________ Vicki

| We're currently paying an average of $1.30 (Aus.) per litre which converts to approx. above $4.80 (Aus.) OR $4.50 (U.S.) per gallon, so in comparison it's way more expensive to fuel a car in Aus. so you're all much luckier than me in that respect Gas (petrol) and meat prices are much cheaper in the U.S. than in Aus. and the U.K. where fuel is even more expensive again. I find it extremely hard to find economically priced meat, unless I can find price-reductions from expiry dates or weekly specials. Now you know why I get excited when I find some _________________ ~ By sowing frugality we reap liberty, a golden harvest. --Agesilaus ~ |
