It seems like there were some really great finds in the month of June. I can't wait to read about the ones for July.

Yesterday, Todd's parents gave us their "old" grill (about 3-4 years old). It is ALOT nicer and ALOT bigger than the one we have.

The one we have was Todd's before we got together - and it was on its last leg then.

Great thrill M.

I had a few thrills from late last month that I hadn't posted. I found 2 nice winter jumpers at local thrift stores for $6 each, a new pair of trousers reduced from $40 to $15. I also bought some pretty cards at work for $1 each, some were on sale for as much as $7.95 each. I always like to keep spare cards at home.

That's great about the new grill. We use our portable camping one for everything.

Yesterday I went to the grocery and got:
4 bottles of BBQ sauce
box of 12 pop-tars
6 cans chef boyrdee raviolis
Breyers ice-cream
1.5 lb ground beef
2 jars of Chi-chi salsa
48oz bottle of veg. oil
bag of chocolate chips
5 lb bag of sugar
Bagelfuls
2 packs pepperoni
4 boxes of rotoni pasta
total= $7.02 not healthy I know but we will use it all

Oh..one for this month..not exactly cheap though!

On Tuesday morning I broke the passenger wing mirror of my car just before 5am in the work car park (I walked into it after double checking the passenger door was locked..lol). It was still dark so I didn't know if it was beyond repair or not. When I got out at lunchtime I realized it was totally stuffed. Yesterday DH priced a replacement for me and they were $200 new. He rang around some wreckers yards and located one for $70 so one of the truck drivers picked it up for him, it was even the same colour as my car. Well...it was a new model and didn't fit so DH took it back today and exchanged it for one from a totally different make of car which used an identical wing mirror. It's already fitted (but the wrong colour...lol). Oh well Rolling Eyes

Luckily I had won our weekly 'social club' lotto draw at work...$40...so that paid for some of it.

M - that is a great deal on your grill.

Skin - great clothing deals for you and the cards were great price also. Sorry about the mirror but what a great savings

carrie - you always amaze me with the deals you get on your groceries. I need to come and hang out with you a while and learn your tricks.

Our library started offering free shows for kids last week. I took the kids last week to Mad Science and last night to Uncle Pete. They have so much fun at these and they are free. It amazes me how uncrowded they are.

I was putting up clearance tickets at work today and spotted a few half-price bargains: Black bean stirfry sauce, feminine hygiene products and frozen berries. I'd only buy item's that I'd normally use.
Also sold DS's weightlifting bench on ebay and will be glad to see that dust collector gone...lol.
