| | Cheap thrill for us this week has been when my oldest son brought us a used garbage disposal. He is a plumber and had to take it out of a business. They were required by state to put in a grease trap so the disposal had to go,,its still very new.It is so strong I bet I bet I could put rocks down it and come up with sand!LOL..(Although I would never do that!) LOL!! He was told to throw it away,,but being frugal, he re- used it on our home! Works so nice too! |

| Wow, what a fantastic thrill Donna, great recycling too. You have a frugal-minded son, you've obviously set a good example _________________ ~ By sowing frugality we reap liberty, a golden harvest. --Agesilaus ~ |

| I forgot to post a cheap thrill that happened last weekend when I went shopping with my mom. My 1 pair of black work shoes had a hole in the toe - so I went to Payless to look for new ones. They had a pair for $5!!! So, I snagged them up. They fit perfectly.

| Very thoughtful of you to pick this little pooch up Gayla, otherwise goodness knows what would've become of it. I'm sure the lady is immensely grateful. If it makes you feel better, why don't you split the difference by giving some to the foodbank and treating yourself too. _________________ ~ By sowing frugality we reap liberty, a golden harvest. --Agesilaus ~ |
