| I'm looking forward to it the closer it gets....BRING IT ON!!!
After my job interview I went to the butchers to buy chicken fillets, etc. When you spent $20 or more you got 1 dozen free eggs...woohoo!!! One of very few cheap thrills this month _________________ ~ By sowing frugality we reap liberty, a golden harvest. --Agesilaus ~ |

| Cheap thrill: I went outside today and picked flowers for the house and for a co-worker. They put a smile on my face when I walk in the front door. ~M _________________ "It is not how much money you make - it is how you spend it."

| Another cheap thrill for today : we transplanted the red raspberry canes from pots to holes outside. The first thing Squiggy did was go up to one and root.
The house next to us is vacant. It went up at a sherrif's sale, and it's been cleaned out. The thing is, the cleaners didnt clean the back yard. Over the past few days, we've been getting a bunch of stuff over there. Yesterday, I found a pretty candy dish and a couple of pots to plant some flowers in. Tonight, we took the trellis they had leaning against the house (brand new, never used), and made a half circle around the raspberry bushes (the rest was against the house) and made a fence that Squiggy cant get into. Once the bushes are big enough, he wont bother them. I just dont need him ruining the new chutes. And, we only had 5 stakes. Todd suggested we go rummage to see what else was over at the vacant house, and low and behold, we got 6 pipes that enabled us to keep the trellis up and Squiggy out.
Also, while looking, I found more pots for flowers next year! :-) We will have flowers everywhere next year (hopefully). One of the pots still had the sticker on it : $9.99!

| Good scavenging skills M....they are remodeling the outside of the apartment buildings here and I see scraps of building materials gathered up and thrown away....it seems like a waste...certainly not something apartment dwellers can use but surely someone could make use of them... I went on a quick trip through Savers and found some Adidas work out clothing for $1.50 - $2.00....sure beats the crazy prices they want new and the 'running style' tops are of a wonderful wicking fabric that is so soft and comfy I will wear them alot... Donna, I also found 2 cute summer purses, one of them never used for $2.50 each... _________________ Love is a fruit, in season at all times and within the reach of every hand. | oh speaking of tall kids....my almost 30 year old son is 6'5'' and very skinny, it is always hard for him to fit his height for clothes and not look baggy... _________________ Love is a fruit, in season at all times and within the reach of every hand.
