| Mom came to visit me on Sunday, and brought a huge bag full of food. Leftover home-made chicken noodle soup, rolls, crackers, ham/chicken&egg salad, cookies, gizzards & mushrooms (yes, I like them).
It is enough food to keep us fed for most of the week. :-)

| I found some good deals in my grocery store's markdown section but I think the best deal of all was the plastic mini slinky for 10 cents....my daughter loves to twirl slinkies with her hand to reduce stress...poor thing has been having a tough time with stress and some pain for about 2 weeks now, so it was a very well spent 10 cents.... _________________ Love is a fruit, in season at all times and within the reach of every hand. | Thanks Skin, we will be seeing her doctor soon, she seems to be having pelvic pain so not sure if it might be a urinary tract problem or something else...hopefully something that is easily treated... _________________ Love is a fruit, in season at all times and within the reach of every hand. | | Today I went to a yardsale and for $7.50 I got a pair of shorts and a shirt for Rob, a pair of jeans and a pair of Capri's, 2 sweaters and a shirt for me, streamers for Ty's B-day, a cool box to use as a gift, 2 spatulas, and Ty a pair of little kids roller blades...I think that was all, but it was good! |

| I had only 1 pair of jeans that I always wear on the weekend. Today, I found another pair I had thrown in the back of the armoir. I quickly found out that the reason they were back there is because they had a big ole' hole in them! I cleaned off my desk today and found a patch kit! So, I got a very comfortable pair of jeans back for $0. Now, hopefully they will last longer because I have two pair. Plus, it will be nice to take them on vacation in 3 weeks.
Todd and I went to Akron to see family - so we were fed all day. We went to my favorite Thrift Store and Todd got 2 pair of jean shorts for vacation (one of them are Levi's), I got 3 sweaters (I am still wearing sweaters to work because it's been so cold) and 4 dressy shirts that I can wear with my jeans/shorts or to work. Everything cost us $12.50. Cant beat it. Like Todd said, we got all this stuff for the price of 1 pair of jeanshorts at WalMart.
Oh, we also got Sunglasses for vacation. I dont own a pair, but now I do! And Todd loses then like crazy. They were $1/piece at Deal$.
