Anyone able to tell me what icing sugar is.Is it possibly powdered sugar?I was watching a video on google about how to make homemade fondant for cake decorating(I saw fondant in Michaels craft store and it is very expensive!) and the recipe said to add icing sugar.Never heard of this before.Chef

Yes, it's powdered sugar, the 3X one is the finest and will work best for fondant

Doesn't fondant crack and rip easily when it's draped over the cake? It does have a beautiful finish to the cake.
