...before you guys order.
Is it something that you could make out of 2 litre pop bottles?

I saw this a few weeks ago and thought about trying to make it myself. Save a whole heckofalot of money.

I was just thinking it looks like a 2 litre bottle, but I found some other ways to do it.

I posted something, but it didnt show up on the forum.

Let's try this again:

http://blog.makezine.com/archive/2006/03/how_to_make_an_upside_down_pla.html

Another website I saw shows that you can do this with zucchini as well.

I think I'll do the first link.
It looks pretty simple, and very inexpensive.

11 more days, ladies, and Spring will be here.
I really need to start my planters TONIGHT.
I must do it.

Alot of the seeds I have require 24 hours to soak in hot water.
But I should start everything else while those are soaking.
Maybe while I'm doing laundry tonight, that's what I can do.

Todd and I went to the Dollar Tree this morning, and we found quite a few bowls that you could drill holes in and attach with rope. They were a dollar a piece. The only reason we didnt buy them is because Todd's dad gets them alot of times for free from where he works. He just has to ask next time we see them.

I know it, Donna.
It is up to my knees out there. Squiggy hates it.
I think there is a reason they call them Vietnamese Pot Bellied Pigs - they dont like the cold! And he hates the rain.

Dh came home with 4 pots last night with everything included. (2) for tomatoes and (2) for strawberries. I told him I still wanted to do the hanging ones. I found pictures on line where they hung them from the deck. I will try that and using the 5 gal buckets.
