| I got these from little church recipe book
Ramen and Lentil Soup
1 (or two) packets Ramen Noodles 1 can (large or small) pre-cooked lentils Cook your ramen Noodles ’soup style’ (do not drain). Open a can of lentils, and when ramen noodles are at the desired tenderness, add lentils. Using the flavor packet is optional, but probably makes it taste better. Eat!
After-School Ramen Snack
a pseudo Spaghetti-O’s. .
2 pkgs Ramen noodles 1 can tomato soup Hot sauce (If you want) Shredded cheese Break noodles into quarters, place in pot. Add enough water to almost cover the noodles. Boil until almost all the water is gone, stiring the noodles often. (Or just cook the noodles and strain, it just makes more dirty dishes.) Add one seasoning packet and can of soup, stir, then add hot sauce and/or cheese to taste.
Ramen Burrito Prepare as usual, make sure the noodles are not broken and save the seasoning packet.
Drain all the water.
Pour the noodles into a large plastic zipper close bag.
Sprinkle the seasoning and shake/mix with noodles.
Close up the bag with the noodles at the bottom make sure you get out the excess air.
Now just roll up the bag with the noodles pressed into the bottom. Let this settle for a few minutes to take shape.
You should see why my friends call it a Ramen Burrito by the shape.
To eat, just open up the bag and kind of scoot it up to the opening.
It’s easiest to eat using the bag as a wrapper of sorts.
There you have it. A quick easy way to enjoy everyones favorite treat and get big delicious mouthfuls of yummy noodles.
I’m sure you could spice this up a variety of ways, enjoy.
Southwestern Chicken Ramen
1 packet of chicken Ramen A pinch of fresh minced garlic (optional) Some garlic powder Some onion powder Some oregano/basil (optional) White con queso cheese sauce (tostitos brand is good) Some ranch dressing/sauce Cook the ramen normally (with flavor packet), but with the minced garlic in the water. Add a bit of garlic powder while it’s still boiling. When it’s finished boiling, cut the heat, add the chicken flavoring packet, and stir. Once your noodles are good and chickeny, add a decent ammount more of garlic powder, and a pinch of onion powder. Add a pinch of the oregano/basil, and stir well.
Once everything is dissolved and it smells good, drain, and add a small ammount of the Queso dip and the ranch dressing. Stir until the noodles have absorbed the flavor (they’ll look a bit thicker and creamy). Enjoy.
If you happen to have red pepper to toss in, or some cheeses that would work (cheddar, Monteray Jack, etc…) feel free.
Really Easy Breakfast Ramen
1 package of Ramen (Any flavour) 1-2 eggs 1 onion 1 tomato (Not big) Put just enough water in a casserole to be able to cover the block of ramen. While you wait for it to boil, cut some slices of tomato and onion. When the water has boiled, put in the ramen and seasoning, then cover with a nice layer of tomato and onion slices, and pour a whole egg on the top. Put on a lid, wait for it to boil just enough for your liking and serve!
This tastes just absolutely delicious, and gives you a good start in the morning.
Bacon Ramen 1 packet of Oriental style noodles 4 Slices of Bacon chopped A Few Chopped Green Onions (optional) 1 Dash of worcestershire Sauce Fry up the bacon, and then drain. Pour out all but 1 or 2 table spoons. In the pan add the seasoning packet and stir. Prepare the ramen according to the directions, and then pour this wonderful fluid all over. Top with a few green onions and a dash of worcestershire and you have a meal that will make you useless on the couch in no time!
Almost Cordon Bleu Ramen
Missing the chicken, but uses chicken ramen…
One package chicken flavor ramen One or two, slices ham Shredded swiss, or cheddar, or both (however much you want) This recipe is really easy. Prepare ramen as package indicates. While the ramen cooks, dice up the ham into small pieces, and shred cheese. Drain ramen, mix in ham, and top with cheese.
Fried Ramen Cake
A quick and easy way to add some protein and butter to your ramen.
1 pkg ramen – chicken flavor works best 1 egg 3 tablespoons butter In a small saucepan heat 1 cup of water to boiling. Add flavor packet and ramen noodles. Cook over medium-high heat, stirring occasionally, until all the water is absorbed. In the meantime, whisk the egg in a small bowl.
Heat butter in a medium-sized nonstick skillet over medium-high heat until the foaming subsides.
This next step needs to be done swiftly so that the egg doesn’t scramble - when the noodles are done, remove the saucepan from the heat and add the whisked egg quickly, stirring all the while to coat the ramen, then dump the whole thing into the skillet. Use a fork to arrange the noodles into a rough circle.
Cook without disturbing until the bottom of the cake is browned, then flip the whole thing over with a spatula and brown on the other side. It’s done when it is brown and crispy on the outside and soft on the inside.
You could add things to the noodles (chicken or meat or veggies) but it’s pretty pointless because they are perfect the way they are.
Cheesy Ranch Ramen A “healthy” ramen snack. 2 packages of any flavor ramen (your not gonna use the packet anyway) 1 cup ranch dressing 1 cup shredded cheese ( I prefer cheddar, to each his own) a pinch of parsley (optional) a pinch of basil (optional) salt and pepper to taste Take the ramen packets and while there are still in the packages crush the ramen up, dont turn it into dust, but in many many pieces. Now take the ramen in a pot and fill the pot with water to cover the noodles, and cook them like the package says. Drain the noodles with a fork, I wouldnt suggest a strainer, seeing how the noodles would fall out.
Put the drained ramen back on the stove and under low heat add the cheese and ranch dressing and stir until the cheese is melted and add any seasonigs you please.
Sweet and Spicy Coke Ramen
1 pack Texas Beef Ramen (or regular beef, or asian - but Texas Beef is best) 1/2 to 3/4 can Coke (not diet) 1 pack salted peanuts 1 Beef stick (aka Slim Jim) –Optional– Cook noodles. Use one of your work boots and the concrete floor of your cell to crush the peanuts inside the bag. Add about 2/3 of the peanuts and eat the rest while you’re “cooking”. Drain water from noodles, then add seasoning packet and coke. Add peanuts and optional sliced beef stick or summer sausage. Add more coke to achieve the right amount of sauce and balanced flavor.
Instant Stir-Fry Ramen Olive oil (or vegetable oil or butter) Ramen (any flavor) 1 egg Meat (hot dog, bologna, or spam) Combine 3 or 4 spoonfuls of olive oil (or vegetable oil or butter) with the ramen flavor pack in a plate, stir well. Set mixture aside, then get a bowl or tupperware, put in the ramen and put water until it covers the ramen, place in microwave for 4 minutes. While ramen is cooking in microwave, fry an egg and a hotdog or balogna or slice of spam. Slice egg and hotdog, balogna, or spam into strips, take out ramen and drain the water, and add to the oil/butter mixture for your instant stir fried ramen!
Cabbage/Lime Ramen 1 Package of Ramen (chicken flavor) Shredded Cabbage 1 Lime Salt, Pepper, and the seasoning packet from the ramen Boil the ramen noodles with 1.5 cups of water. Once it is almost done (2-3 mins), add 1-2 cups of shredded cabbage and add seasoning packet. Cover and cook on medium-low for 1 minute.
Once served, add lime juice, salt, and pepper to taste.
Cheap and Easy Ramen Dessert
1 package top ramen (no seasoning packet) Strawberry sauce like you get on an ice-cream sundae bottle of honey you can squeeze from dash cinnamon and sugar Whipped cream the kind from the can works best Make ramen as usual but do not add seasoning packet. I like to undercook it a little but you can make it how you like. Drain noodles and place in fridge till chilled. Take cold ramen and place on a paper plate. Drizzle as much honey on ramen as desired, I like a lot. Sprinkle on some cinnamon and sugar, and a little of the strawberry sauce. Add whipped cream
Girl Scout Thin Mint Ramen On A Stick (aka Ramen Cookie Bouquet)
4 packs of uncooked ramen 1 16 oz bag of dark chocolate chips. 14 drops of peppermint extract 2 drops of spearment extract 2 drops of wintergreen extract (these amounts of extracts can vary to 24 lollipop sticks or popcicle sticks Optional: 1/2 tsp butter Crush dry uncooked ramen noodles into a bowl to about the consistency of bulky oatmeal or rice krispies… DO NOT crush finer or the recipe doesnt set. Set aside.
Lay out some wax paper.
In a saucepan or double boiler, melt your chocolate chips until then become smooth and creamy.
If desired add butter. (I skip it).
Slowly add mint extracts to the chocolate.
Stir for 1 minute.
Quickly pour over your crushed ramen and stir vigorously until completelycovered.
Immediately spoon mixture in tablespoons onto wax paper into round cookie shapes… mixture will flatten and spread considerable so leave lots of space in between.
Place a stick into each cookie before it hardens.
Let cool COMPLETELY for about an hour.
Peel, and eat.
You can individually wrap these and freeze for use later… they last a LONG time in the freezer, well maybe not THAT long.
Do not use the flavor packets in this recipe, save them for another time. You can NEVER have enough ramen flavor packets! _________________ Gayla

GARLIC NOODLES Boil a brick of your favorite flavor Ramen noodles in a saucepan for five minutes, then drain off the water. Stir in the seasoning packet, 1/2 teaspoon powdered garlic, and 1 Tablespoon of butter or margarine. Serves one person and tastes great! This recipe is one of my favorite Ramen recipes.
CHINESE CHICKEN NOODLE SOUP 1 pkg. Ramen Noodles (chicken, oriental or pork flavor) 2 cans chicken broth 1/2 cup frozen English peas 1/2 can sliced water chestnuts 1 egg, beaten with fork 1 chicken breast or 1/2 cup leftover chicken, turkey or pork 1/2 cup chopped bok choy or Napa cabbage or celery 2 Tbsp. carrots, sliced diagonally in small pieces 1 tsp. sesame oil (optional, gives distinctive taste) 2 to 3 Tbsp. diced green onions for garnish
Bring 2 cups of water to boil; add chicken broth. Add the packet of seasoning. While broth is boiling, add 1 chicken breast (cut in small pieces), vegetables and the egg. Stir the egg in with a fork and mix it fast so it will not clump. Just before serving, add the noodles and the peas, then the sesame oil and green onions. Don't let soup sit around cause vegetables need to be a bit crunchy, not cooked soft. If using leftover meat in your soup, just add at the end because it only needs to be heated. Add another can of chicken broth if soup is too thick or if you prefer more broth.
You may vary the soup with different Chinese type vegetables available. Add some garlic and a dash of hot Chinese mustard. If using strong vegetables such as broccoli, chop them small and don't overcook to avoid a strong flavor.
POLISH SAUSAGE RAMEN 1 pkg. Hilshire Farms Polish Sausage 4 pkg. Pork Ramen Noodles 1 pkg. frozen peas and carrots 2 cans beef broth
Slice the sausage into bite-sized pieces and fry in a skillet. Cook the noodles for five minutes in the beef broth. Do NOT drain. Add the frozen peas and carrots, and the sausage, and mix well. Cook another five minutes. Serve in bowls.

Marinade - Mix together: 2 Tbsp. soy sauce 1-1/2 Tbsp. minced gingerroot 1 Tbsp. minced garlic 4-1/2 Tbsp. vegetable oil 2 cups sliced onions 1 tsp. cayenne pepper 2 cups shredded cabbage 1 cup grated carrots 1-1/2 Tbsp. rice wine vinegar
Sauce - Mix together: 1/4 cup soy sauce 3 Tbsp. rice wine vinegar 1-1/2 Tbsp. sugar 1-1/2 Tbsp. worcestershire sauce 1/2 tsp. toasted sesame seeds 5 pkg. Ramen Oriental with flavor packets
In a bowl, mix the pork with the marinade, toss lightly, and let marinate for 30 minutes. Heat a wok or a skillet, add 3 Tbsp. oil, and heat until near smoking. Add the pork, stir-fry until done, remove, and drain. Wipe out the pan and reheat. Add the remaining oil and heat over high heat until hot. Add the onions and cayenne pepper, and stir-fry for about 1 minute. Add the cabbage. Toss lightly for 1 minute and add the carrots and rice wine vinegar. Cook for another minute and add the sauce. Heat until boiling. Add the cooked pork and the noodles, and toss lightly to blend. Transfer to a platter and serve immediately. Serves 6 to 8.
DESSERT RAMEN Cook Ramen. Drain. Chill. Place in dessert dishes. Top with honey, cinnamon-sugar, and strawberry syrup. Top with whipped cream and more strawberry syrup. Enjoy!
RAMEN PUDDING Cook 4 pkg. Ramen noodles, broken up as much as possible, in water. Drain. Add 1 cup sugar, 1 cup heavy cream, 1 tsp. cinnamon, and 1 Tbsp. vanilla. Cook over medium heat until thickened, stirring constantly. You can add 1/2 cup raisins or chopped dates if you like them. Serve, in dessert dishes, either warm or chilled. Sprinkle a bit of cinnamon-sugar on top as a garnish just before serving. _________________ Gayla
