| 2 cups strawberries mashed 2 cups sugar 3 ounces liquid pectin 2 tablespoons lemon juice 3 teaspoons red food coloring
Stir the berries and sugar together in a large bowl, blending well, and let stand for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally. Add the pectin, lemon juice and food coloring, blending well, and stir constantly for 3 minutes. Spoon the jam into the jars prepared for freezer jams _________________ Gayla

| My favorite flavor of jam and this is a perfect summer recipe with no heat involved! My Mom used to make strawberry freezer jam when I was a kid and it was so delicious--very fresh tasting. I did not realize that they made liquid pectin now, which would make it all the easier. _________________ MARY |
