| This is only the beginning of food costs rising. Has anyone noticed the cost of chicken lately? Chicken used to be a cheap meal, but not any more. I've found that flank steak is the best buy right now in meats. I have several recipes that I make with the flank steak. Even a dozen eggs used to cost around 89 cents. The ad for our local supermarket has them on sale for $1.59 a dozen |

| I have been getting boneless skinless chicken breast for $1.99pound. I can't find hamburger under $3.00 a pound though and usually it is $4.00 a lb.
Kim - try mixing up some powdered milk and add it to your milk to make it last longer _________________ Vicki

| | I have tried the powder milk and didnt really care for it..but I did want to get more just to have for recipes that call for milk,,in order to save on the store bought milk.Hubby is a major milk drinker..I think the powder milk would taste the same and do the same with baking and cooking as regular milk does...hopefully. |

| I have had sucess with mixing up a small amount and adding it to our milk. Sometimes I have added up to 1/2 gal and got no complaints but they won't drink it without the mixing. When cooking I can use just the powdered and no one knows _________________ Vicki
