| I have some polish sausge link thawing in the frige..was going to make it tonight but we ate out.The normal way I make it is just slice it like coin shapes,,layer that with a layer of kraut then a layer of potatoe slices.just layer this in a casserole dish ,,dollup some butter in it,,top with foil and bake.
I make it this way everytime we have it....everytime...needless to say we are burned out on it that way! I need a new recipe to try! Any ideas................... |

| Polish sausage is great in rice dishes and in soups. For a New Orleans syle dish prepare white or yellow rice, then sautee sausage slices, peppers and onions, add a can of beans and serve over rice. It's also great on the BBQ (and reduces some to the fat as well) sliced into 4 inch slices and halved down the center. Throw chopped leftovers into chicken and rice soup for a gumbo taste. I like it with eggs also, it makes a nice omlette and really stretches the meat money. _________________ Dear Lord, help me remember how lucky I am on both the good and the bad days! |

| I'm dancing on stage at the Luau I attended in Universal. They were looking for a volunteer and had gone thru most of the audiance and as he got to me I thought "why pass up a dance with a good looking young man?" As the song sayes, and when you get the chance I hope you dance! _________________ Dear Lord, help me remember how lucky I am on both the good and the bad days! |
