| Hi All!!
Well,I have an Easter dinner dilemma this year. I used to always have ham. Then over the past couple of years I have had an "issue" with pork. (can't really explain it...it's probably just an irrational "issue') In any case, I think last year, we either had turkey or roast beef. my family definitely does not like beef all that much, we barely eat beef. As for turkey...because it's a "super food" I make a turkey breast in my slow cooker once a week, so turkey is not-so-special anymore if you know what I mean, soooooooo....my dilemma is, what else do I make????? I am perplexed!!! Any ideas?
p.s. family won't eat fish either~
TIA!!! _________________

| I would say only thing left would be chicken,,,since its the one that layed the Easter eggs for Peter Rabbit to deliver.LOL I think having rabbit would be a bit gross on Easter LOL. By the way,,,how do you do the turkey breast in your crockpot,,,,I love turkey and to do it in the crockpot is perfect for my schedule! |

oh Donna, it's yummy! I have a large oval crockpot, but I make sure the turkey breast I get fits in the crockpot (just asked hubby & he thinks it's about a 7-8 lb. breast). I wash it, put it in the crockpot, pour organic vegetable broth over it (about a cup or 1 & 1/2 c.),then season it with salt, pepper, and a little garlic powder. then turn it on LOW for 8-10 hours.
well, ladies, I guess chicken it will be...or at least that's what I am thinkin' now. All my kids & hubby like chicken...and of course I do (as I said previously, it's the only thing keeping me from being a vegetarian! ) Now, to find a recipe or "way" to prepare it that's just a little more "special" than usual~ _________________
