| This is from '365 Easy soups and stews'. I got 2 x dinners (for 3) and 2 x lunches from this recipe. It's very easy which is the way I like it..lol. I did need to add some additional water.
2 x onions chopped 1/4 cup oil 3 lbs lean ground beef 1 (15oz) can diced tomatoes 1 (6oz) can tomato paste 3/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper 4 - 6 teaspoons chili powder 2 teaspoons ground cumin 1 tablespoon paprika
* In a roasting pot, saute onions in oil & brown ground beef.
* Mix in all remaining ingredients with 2 teaspoons of salt and bring to the boil. Reduce heat and simmer for 3 hours.
* Stir several times and add water if required. _________________ ~ By sowing frugality we reap liberty, a golden harvest. --Agesilaus ~ |

| I'm not very into hot food either Donna, I went for the lesser amount of chili powder...lol. DH, on the other hand, makes very hot curries, they almost blow my head off...PHEW!!!
