| 3/4 cups sugar ¼ cup soft shortening 1 egg ½ cup milk 2 cups flour 2 teaspoons baking powder ½ teaspoon salt 2 cups blueberries
Topping:
½ cup sugar 1/3 cup sifted flour ½ teaspoon cinnamon ¼ cup soft butter
Cream sugar and shortening. Stir in egg, then milk. Sift dry ingredients and stir into the sugar mixture. Fold blueberries in carefully. Sprinkle with topping mixture. Bake at 375° for 45-50 minutes in a greased and floured 9x9 pan. _________________ Gayla
