2 lbs. of round steak, cut into serving pieces with fat removed

3 c. milk
1 c. water
1/2 pkg. of dry onion soup mix
Fresh mushrooms (if desired)
Salt and pepper to taste
Salt and pepper serving pieces of round steak. Quickly pan fry until brown. Set aside.
In crockpot put soup, milk, water, and soup mix. Stir, mixing well. Now add meat. Turn on low for all day or high for 5 or so hours. if you want more gravy use equal parts of either milk, water, sour cream or cream of mushroom soup. Mix before adding to pot. Delicious over rice or noodles.
