2 lb. boneless, skinless chicken breast halves
1/4 Cup butter
2 envelopes dry Italian Dressing Mix
2 cans cream of chicken soup
1 cup water
1 8oz. pkg cream cheese
1/3 oz. chopped chives
1 pkg. bowtie pasta, cooked

Place chicken in crock pot. In a saucepan, melt the butter on low heat
on top of the stove. Add the dressing mix and stir well. Mix in the
soups and water and stir well. Add the cream cheese in small pieces and allow them to melt in. Once it is all mixed, stir in the chives.
Pour mixture over chicken and cook on low heat setting for 5 hours.
Serve on top of bowtie pasta and drizzle with sauce

I made this yesterday. It was really good and the chicken was very tender and moist. I added sliced mushrooms to the mixture. The next time I make this, I'm going to put a little of the sauce on the bottom and then put the chicken breasts on top. The sauce started to brown around the edges, so I turned the crock pot down to warm for about another 1 1/2 hours. Just stir occasionally because the sauce will form a "skin". This would be good on steamed rice or country biscuits. I served a side salad with baby spinach, tomato, onion and some raspberry vinegarette dressing.
