3 pound chicken
Salt
Pepper
1 head Garlic Cloves -- peeled
1/2 cup Nonfat Margarine
1/4 cup dry white wine or chicken broth
1/4 cup Fresh Parsley -- minced (optional)

Wash and pat the chicken dry. Season liberally inside and out with the salt and pepper and add a few garlic cloves to the cavity. Brown the chicken on all sides if desired, and place in the crockpot with the remaining garlic, butter, and wine. Cover and cook on high for 4-6 hours. Add the fresh parsley before serving. Carve and serve with the sauce
