| I realize that some might think this is silly but then they might be a nice gift for a family with "4 legged" children.

PLUS..
Peanut Butter Bones (dog treats) 2 cups whole wheat flour 1 tbsp baking powder 1 cup skim milk 1 cup natural peanut butter
Preheat oven to 375 degrees. In a bowl, combine flour and baking powder. In another bowl, mix peanut butter and milk. Add wet mixture to dry, and mix well. Turn out dough on a lightly floured surface and knead. Roll out to 1/4-inch thick and cut out shapes. If I’m short on time, I just cut into little squares with a pizza cutter. Place on a greased baking sheet and bake 20 minutes or until lightly brown. Cool on a rack then store in an airtight container.
Bread Machine Chicken Flavored Treats (dog treats) 1 cup chicken stock (Make sure there is no onion in your stock. I use stock made from chicken meat ONLY with nothing else added. You could also use beef stock.) 1 cup Bread or all-purpose flour 2 cup Whole wheat flour 1/4 cup Non-fat dry milk powder 1 1/2 teaspoon Yeast
Use dough cycle. Roll dough to 1/2" thickness. Cut with cookie cutters or a pizza cutter. Place on a greased baking sheet. Cover with plastic wrap and let rise in warm place about one hour. Bake at 325- degrees for one hour. When all are baked, turn off oven and leave overnight. Store in airtight container. _________________ Vicki
