This is a beverage made with alcohol (serves 6). drunken

Ingredients:
1 lemon
1 lime
1 orange
1 1/2 cups rum (white or spiced is nice)
1/2 cup of white sugar
1 750ml bottle of red wine (dry)
1 cup of orange juice

Have the fruit, rum, wine and orange juice well chilled. Slice all the fruit into thin circles and place in a large pitcher. Pour in the rum and sugar, and chill in the fridge for 2 hours to develop the flavour.
Before serving, crush the fruit slightly with a wooden spoon, then stir in the wine and orange juice. Adjust sweetness to taste.

PS - the picure of the smiley face is too darn cute.
That is me when I drink.

I dont know if it's from my medications or not, but when I drink, one glass is enough to make me sloshed. We get a 1/2 pitcher at a local Mexican restaurant of margaritas. I drink one (and can barely walk to the door), and Todd gets the other 3 glasses and feels nothing. It hits me MUCH harder than it hits him.

Your what we alcoholics call a "lightweight drinker"!Im joking,,I think I might be able to handle 3 tops,,then Im swaying side to side!
I had a friend once that would driink Coronas one after the other,,I asked her when does she know when to stop,,,her reply was,,,when it starts to taste like water!

Whew!

Donna,

Too funny.
My fiance calls me a light-weight all the time.
I tell him - I'm the heaviest lightweight I know!
He says I'd put the bars out of business if the world was made up of Meg*n's

That is hilarious about your friend.
Corona's are a sad excuse for beer, in my opinion. It is pretty much water with a tint of beer flavor. Ick. I cant stand either. :-)

Give me sweet wine, sangria, wine cooler and my amaretto sour's ANY DAY over beer.

I am getting some housework done right now before my fiance gets home. We have stuff to make Amaretto Sour's ... I may go make myself one while prepping dinner. :-) Thanks for the idea! I'll be sleeping by the time Todd gets home from work (I am a sleepy drunk). Thank goodness that I dont have hangovers.

**Please note: I am not a drunk. This is all in fun. But I am going to go have an amarretto sour right now, and I am most likely going to feel light-headed afterwards and fall asleep. But please, dont think any less of me. **

Absolutely not...lol.
I will be going against the norm and having a few drinks tonight at the party...(yeah right...lol).
I have also made up vodka-jelly flavoured shots (raspberry) and will be making baby guinness shots too (kahlua & baileys...yum). Game winners can choose one of either as a prize!!!
p.s. I might have to sample a few to make sure they taste okay....HICCC!!!

It was a great night thanks m...I'm exhausted!
Lots of food, music and games, we had a great laugh. I got a few good pics too. Had a major mess to clean up afterwards though but it was worth it!
