Recycled Fabric!!!

I purchased a large fabric piece last year (cheaply on ebay) for DH's themed 40th birthday. It's red with footballs/soccer balls all over it, a very large piece which I used as a table-cover. It's been sitting around ever since and I've been wondering what to do with it (apart from donating it to a thrift store)...then.... idea

I'm going to use it to make him a Christmas Sack!!! stocking

I suppose it would be nice to use Christmas themed fabric, but this will be quite personal to him, he just loves his football Very Happy

Even so, I'll still have some fabric left over..... scratch

Maybe I can donate whatever's left! Smile

Skin...good thinking! I LOVE to use leftover fabric! I save and scarf up anyone else's fabric scraps! If you put your mind to it....you can think of may different things to use the fabric for! Smile

I'm sure your DH will love his Christmas sack!

My Dh got a worrible rip in the front of a very nice print shirt I to the other front have and the back and made the cutest little sundress for my little Grandbaby ..
I recycle fabric all the time ... I started a rag quilt .. that uses any size block as long as you get the 5 inch block
