I was just 'window' shopping at one of the large shopping centres today, scoping for ideas to copy Laughing

One store had a very pretty large glass jar with lid, it had been handpainted and inside were some bath items, e.g. bubble-bath, body lotion, etc, but in quite small bottles, the rest of it was 'bulked up' with bath scrunchies in co-ordinating colours. It cost around $25 Shocked but was very, very pretty.
I bet the same thing could be put together much more frugally at home Wink
The jar looked like a large glass cookie jar, could be picked up from thrift shops maybe or perhaps more easily from a dollar type store. It could be filled with bath items (and larger sizes too!) accompanied again with bath scrunchies/sponge/face-cloth.
Anyone crafty enough could paint the jar but I imagine it would be pretty as is....you could probably do the same thing inside a large clear glass vase. Kind of like a double-gift. Who wouldn't be happy to have that sitting on display in the bathroom? Smile

Another item was linen spray in a clear pump-spray bottle with pearl-like beads in the bottom and a ribbon at the neck...so pretty but pricey!
I bet that could be homemade for a fraction of the cost Wink
Same idea with the liquid hand-soap bottles, I've seen many with flowers inside but the pearl beads looked really classy.

They were so nice and so easy to duplicate Wink

I like checking out ideas in the large dept. stores then trying to recreate them much cheaper at home myself...lol.
