| No ideas or no one want to do it? If we do,,I thought of something recycled,,like a craft you made from other items. On a different site someone had done this by making a herb garden out of a old charcoal grill,,sitting in her yard by the patio,,I thought that was creative! Any takers on a recycled craft? |

| I couldn't come up with an idea and I probably wont participate in July as I will be gone almost 1/2 the month. But I don't know for sure. I think your idea is great Donna _________________ Vicki

| I'm up for making a recycled craft and I know just what to make It was something I'd been intending to do anyway
I take it we can make anything of our own choosing, as long as it's recycled??? _________________ ~ LESS IS MORE ~ |

| Well if it helps gayla, I'll tell you what I was planning to do:
I have kept 2 old tops from DS's younger days. One pyjama top and one t-shirt with Dennis the Menace pics and logos on them...he was BEANO and DANDY mad as a child (they're comics and Dennis was a main character in the BEANO), he also had all their annuals. I'm going to use the front of each top and sew up a cushion for his bed so there'll be a logo on each side. I'll either use a zip or stud fastenings so it'll be removable for washing. That counts as recycled huh? _________________ ~ LESS IS MORE ~ |

| I think that definitely counts as recycling skin.
I thought of something last night while it was too hot to sleep.
Does this count? My mom gave me a jet bead necklace that belonged to her mom. I'd like to take it apart and make other pieces of jewelry with the jet for her, my sisters and my SIL for Christmas. I don't know if I'll get all 5 pieces done (one for me too you know!) but hopefully will get a couple completed. |
