| Pumpkin Centerpieces Small pumpkinTake one medium size pumpkin, hollow and insert florist's foam. Fill with silk or dried Fall fs. Try not to make the fs extend too high.
Set in a bed of straw or raffia in the center of your table. Surround the main pumpkin with mini-pumpkins, also hollowed, filled with styrofoam and silk or dried fs, dried corn and gourds.
Small pumpkins make nice ways to display name tags or place tags for each guest at your dinner table. Simply cut a small card, print the guest's name on the card, glue to a toothpick or fondue stick and insert into the foam.
You can also use the small pumpkins as candle holders. Only hollow out enough of the pumpkin to be able to insert the candle, fill in any spaces with pieces of styrofoam or melted wax. OR, put floral styrofoam firmly into the pumpkin and insert the candle into the center of the styrofoam. Tie a ribbon around the base of the candle. Burn the candles carefully, do NOT leave unattended!! _________________ Vicki
