| I'd like to ask another favour of prayers for DH who is having hand surgery on Wednesday. The surgeon will be removing a foreign body which lodged in his hand several weeks ago at work and it only began troubling him more recently, surgery is the only way to remove it. I'll spend most of Wednesday at the hospital with him, driving him home again. I will also be taking DS for his post-surgery check-up on Tuesday (the day prior to DH) so will find out what else they'll have planned for him then hopefully. Thanks in advance _________________ ~ By sowing frugality we reap liberty, a golden harvest. --Agesilaus ~ |

| Thanks so much ladies, DS and I are catching the bus for his appointment today as I'm to nervous ('chicken') to drive into the city! DH is unsure if he's getting home tomorrow after surgery or they're keeping him in until the next day as they have a bed booked for him so I had to organize Wednesday night off work and make the hours up with an extended shift all Thursday night. I'm not sure how I'm getting home from DH's hospital yet, I don't have a very good sense of direction...lol. I've told DH I don't want to drive as I've no idea where I'll be, he thinks I'm silly...but I panic, he doesn't understand why Hopefully he'll find out today if they'll let him home in the evening, then he can drive in and I can drive home with DH directing me _________________ ~ By sowing frugality we reap liberty, a golden harvest. --Agesilaus ~ |

| I love that pot Vicki!
Well, the hospital mucked up DS's appointment. We caught a bus after 9a.m. and arrived shortly after 10 for his appt. at 10:30a.m. They called his name at 11a.m. and told us they'd made a mistake with his clinic appt. and made another one on Thursday morning for 8:30a.m. I was not amused ladies!!!!! At least they changed the dressing on his arm and removed the stitches where they'd taken the skin graft from. They're not touching the hand until Thursday so will have to wait until then. DH has since found out that he can come home tomorrow evening after his surgery so I'll be bringing some books and knitting! Geez Louise!!! Sorry for my 'mini-rant' lol. _________________ ~ By sowing frugality we reap liberty, a golden harvest. --Agesilaus ~ |

| Update: DH's surgery went well. He's brought home the tip of chisel which was embedded in his hand, another trophy! lol. It was a long day though, arrived at 8.30a.m. and had to sit around in a waiting area until he was taken for surgery around 3p.m. I nipped out to the carpark and took an hour's nap in the car...lol. We got home about 7p.m. so it was lucky I'd re-arranged my work hours. DH is now fast asleep in an armchair (I'd love some of that anaesthetic myself!). I suppose I'll have to wake him to go to bed soon Thanks for the prayers ladies, all very much appreciated. I hope we don't have to wait around too long for DS's new appointment tomorrow morning at 8:30. _________________ ~ By sowing frugality we reap liberty, a golden harvest. --Agesilaus ~ |
